Householders' Meetings.

ELECTION OF SCHOOL COMMITTEES.

The Education Board has received notification that at the meetings of ! householders on Tuesday evening the following school committees were elected :

.Norfolk Bond,—J. E. Bennett, J. Brown, W. Corney, A. F. Heal, G. L. Johnston, 11. Trimble, and A. lA. Ward. At a meeting held subisequently Air J. Brown was elected Chairman, and Air 11. Trimble clerk and treasurer.

SUMtford.—Airs Helen K. Macknj. Mis M. Alonkhouso, Alessrs C. 1). Soie.2 It. H. Kivell, A. Stewart, A. Loveday, (J. Smart, J. F. ilatey, and .1. W. Curtis. At the meeting of the new committee, Air C. D. Sole was elected Chairman. Air J, \Y. I'enn was elected clerk and treasurer. Sixty householdeis were present.

Waitara.—Only live persons put in an uppeuruiicc, and it was decided to usk the Education Board to call another meeting next week for the purpose of electing a committee. Oakura.—The election resulted : Messrs F. C. Morris (Chairman), W. Morris, G. A. Adlam, T. Corkill, T. Penwarden, C. Mace, W. Harrison. Huiakama.—C. 11. West, 0. MeAloon, J. Dromgool, A. Meredith, C. Stewart, A. Armstrong, C. Frank. Mr C. H. West was elected Chairman and Mr A. Armstrong secretary Hurford Koad.—The meeting \va3 very poorly attended, there being only enough present to stand nomination for membership. The following members were returned :—J. Greenhill (Chairman), E. G. Homblyn, J. Tate, 0. Kendell, Airs Tate. Inglewood. Tho ballot resulted as follows :—J. Wjnticld, 11. W. Tai* plee, W. Marshall, D. Allen, T. Nicholls, F. W. Cone, Mrs Carstens, 0. Spurdle, E. Gernhoefer.
