It was dullund threatening during the early part of the afternoon, and after the lifth raco a thick drliwle set in. The attendance was only mod*erate. Totalisator investments wcr<i £7942, making a total of £19,784 for the meeting, as against £28,671 last year. The racing was very interesting, the llniah between Vladimir and Quurrymun in the Au tumn Handicap being wry exciting.
