SAVINGS BANK DEPOSITS.
VERY LARGE INCREASE. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, April 19. The Evening Post states the returns oi the Post Oilice Savings Bank disclosed the interesting fact that deposits during the quarter ended 31st March exceeded withdrawals bv nearly £142,000 as against £3400 for the corresponding quarter, last year. ■
