A TERRIBLE PREDICAMENT.
(Per Press Association.) HOKITIKA, April 17. An elderly woman named Ellen Cato fell over a 4.oft!. sluicing face at Kumara on Wednesday ' night. She was discovered to-<day alive, but" her ribs on the right side are broken. Her body is terribly bruised. She was removed to the hospital, where she lies in a precarious condition.
