Richardson left Wellington for Sydney on Saturday aftornoon to attend the Surveyors' Conference at Melbourne. Mr P. W. Robertson, the Rhodes scholar for the year, teaves for England in July. Ho has not yet decided which college lie will enter. Mr William McCleaii, who represented Wellington in J'arlainent in 18t)2, announces bis intention of contesting the Wellington East seat at tho general election.
