OPPOSITION ADDRESS.
(Per Press Association.) DL'NEDIN, April 1 I. Mr 11. D. l)edford 4 uddressed a largely attended mooting of his constituents at the tiurrison Hall this evening. Ho started off by stating that tho man who desired sound finance' couW not support the present Government; neither could the man who desired Ho soj Parliamentary proceedings carried on on business methods ; nor the man who desired to sec progressive legislation on lines of principle. He then proceeded to endoav(\m< to .substantiate theso allegations by elaborating his points. He strongly stpporlcd the Young New Zealand Party, and thought it would \k in power before very long. In reply io a tpiestion he said he would cope with the Flour Millers' Association by taking the duty off flour. A vote of thanks and renewed conftdenco was carried, an amendment of "no confidence" finding only two supporters.
