Tho hockey season is now approaching, and, judging from the re|ports of tire different dubs in North iTaranaki the game is going to boom ahead this season. All the clubs report a number of new members, n nil new names are constantly being received by the secretaries of the different clubs. Hockey is a game which, when thoroughly understood by the public, is likely to Iwcomc as popular in New Zealand as it is in the Old Coun- j ry.
