ACCIDENTS AT CHRISTCHURCH.
(l'er Press Association.) CHRISTCHUHCH, April 1, A jockey named Jas. McGuire, while riding at the Christchurch Racing Club's annual meeting held ot 1 lumpton Park this afternoon, foil from his horse, who rolled over him. He sustained severe concussion of the brain, anil also a fractured collarbone. He is in a serious condition. A boy Tiamea James Madden fell from a tree in Hagle.v Park' this afternoon, and sustained concussion of the brain. He was picked up unconscious by n casual passvr-by, and taken to the hospital.
