0 Priests For Reform, THE TROOPS INSUBORDINATE. LONDON, Marcli 30. Several priests in St. Petersburg have jcmied the reformers. The\ r insurgent movement in the Georgia province of Trims-Caucasia is spreading. A provisional government has been proclaimed by the rebels. The local troops are in an insubordinate state, and anarchy prevails at the- towns of Batoum and Kars. ALARMING AGITATION IN CAUCASIA. THE LANGUAGE QUESTION. MORE PEASANTS MURDERED.' The agitation in the Caucasus is alarming, especially in the Gori district. The peasants destroyed the lists of those liable for military sarvice, rendering mobilisation difficult. They are Coercing landowners to surrender their lands, and many estates have been abandoned. THE WHOLE COUNTRY AFFECTED. ATTEMPTS TO MURDER. RUN ON SAVINGS BANKS, (Received March 31, 9.50 p.m.) St. PETERSBURG, March 31. Outrages and riots are reported from all Russia. Seven thousand armed peasants at Chernigoff routed a small force of gendarmes, who attempted to suppress pillaging. Attempts to murder police officials were made yestorday in Dvinsk, Stikhiini, Riga, and Krementchug. A run is beginning on many savings banks.
