Association Football Club.

A meeting.of the Association Football Club (New Plymouth} was held on Monday. The subscription was fixed at ss, tho junior subscription to be lixed later. Mr S. Clark* was elected captain, Mr H. 11. Roid, secretary ami treasurer, and Messrs \\. Mullock', T. Kay, and It. Newton as the management committee. It was agreed that the cups presented last year 'by Mr Julian bo inscribed with the name of the winning team, and placed on exhibition. It was also agreed to present a set of medals to the junior team this reason who prove, the, champions. It was decided In call a general meeting for Tuesday, April 4, to be held at the Council Chambers. As showing the progress of the Association game, reference was made to the fact that the majority of the schools in Wellington and Auckland are playing Association in preference to Hngby, The first practice match was fixed for Thursday, on the Western Park ground, all members and intending members being asked to roll up.
