Plague in India.
FRIGHTFUL MORTALITY. (Received March 28. 10.2 p.m.) LONDON, March 28. : Hon. St. John Brodrick, 'Secretary for India,- announced that 252,567: deaths occurred from plague in India during January and February. The Royal Society and the Lister Institution are sending an expedition to study the bacteriology of the plague. The investigation .will probably last several years. %
