The case of Samuel (Jrimes was further mentioned before ■the !S.M. on .Monday. In February last (1 rimes, an Imperial and Old Age pensioner, had accepted the alternative of leaving the Old People's Home rather than consent to a prohibition order 'being issued against him. When the application by Arthur l-'urrar, manager at the Home, for a prohibition order came Ibpfore the Court, however, defendant' infonmed the Court that he would consent to a prohibition order and return to the Home. Mr Hutchinson, S.M., in stating that he would have to look through the papers told defendant that he thought he would have to have his> old age pension cancelled, ashc'hsid'.violated the conditions under which it was granted.
