Marshall Island Restrictions.
POSSIULE RETALIATION. (Received March 28, 1.24,-n.m.) SYDNEY, March 27. Replying to a deputation of the Chamber of Commerce in regard to the prohibition placed on trado by Germany at the Marshall Islands, Mr Rerd said if no redress was forthcoming the Commonwealth Government would probably find itself compelled to retaliate in a way that might possibly operate adversely to German trading interests in Australia.
