Russia and Persia.
♦— St. PETERSBURG, March 24. The outbreak of trouble in Northern Persia is causing apprehension in St. Petersburg lest there will be a general uprising of Asiatic tribes against Russia. There is a very serious outbreak of Mohammedans against the Russians at Meshed, Persia, and great des'ruction of property. The authorities are powerless to cope with the riot. Russians took refuge in the Consulate.
