THE LIQUOR TRADE.
(Received March 23, 0.0 a.ur,) SYDNEY, March 22. The Prohibition party asked the Chief Secretary to include the following provisions in the new Liimor Bill:—Right of veto by a simple majority without any form of compensation on the issue of all liquor-sell-ing licenses; the effective closing of hotels on Sundays and election d&yq, and the closing on wceknights at the same hours as ordinary businesses,- the prohibit'on of the sale of lijquor to persons under eighteen; tHe abolition of storekeepers' licenses ; the placing of cluljs on the same footing as hotels, and the substitution of elective licensing committees for licensing benches.
