Star Football Club.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Star Football Clul. was held at the Cornell Clumbers on Wednesday night. Mr E. Dockrill (president) pnMfUbft, over a large attendance. During the year improvement* to the club's ground on the racecourse were continued. The annual sports last year had been largely attended, C the profits amounting to £2l 15a. The thanks of the ciub were due to those who assisted at the sport*, especially the joint secretaries, Mkuwts Elliott and Ford. They were also indebted to the ladies' conmirtteo under Mrs Dockrill, and to Mr A. Humphries, who were the means of making the annual social a success. The committee referred with deep regret to the death of Mr W. Crocker, and Mr H. Moore. Thanks were also tendered to all supporters.
