CAPTAIN SCOTT lIAItOKX. Of all Hie correspondents at bhc scat of war in the Far Kast few saw more of the great events 1 of the campaign than Captain Scott Harden, the fearless young representative of the Ijondon Chronicle and Graphic, who is to lecture at the Theatre on Friday evening. Arriving at an early stage in the campaign, ho saw many of the earlier battles, ran the blockade into Port Arthur, and was in the fortress during the awful days of the siege. The nia'n Who has been through it all is in a position to speak with authority, and Captain Harden lightens up many of the dark corners which have hitherto puzzled the readers of war news. His opinion „n the cause of tho Russian disasters is particularly interesting at this stage of ths war, and judging from the demand for seals in advance, a large number of patrons will avaiil themselves oi hearing our distiniguisliod visitor. A special feature of the captain's entertainment is the Collection of pictures taken from his own snapshots and sketches in the fortress, which arc reproduced by very fine limelight apparatus.
