Monkhouse applied for the freehold title of sections 13 and 14, block 6, I'ouatu. The ranger reported that the necessary improvements hud been effected. The application waa approved. —Xow Survey.— A "plan and schedule of three sections in Ohura Survey District recently surveyed by Mr \V. T. Morjieth were laid on the table.—Consideration deferred to the next meeting. —Application for Homestead.— Oliver Old applied for section 22, block 11, Ohura, as a site for a homestead, there being no suitable place on the sections held by him on that side of the Ohura Hirer. It was resolved that the board can only grant a temporary lease of the land. —Hoad Heserve.— The I'nder Secretary lor Crown Lauds advised thai sections 81 and 82, block Opunakn, should l>e reserved lor road puipoaes, leaving it to the local body to take the necessary aiva at cither end as a connection between the existing roads.
