On perusing the specimens of language written down the Magistrate remarked that the language could hardly be termed obsene and that he had had much worse before him. On this charge a One of £l, with £1 J* cost*, was imposed, in default a week's imprisonment. For disorderly conduct a conviction was nominally recorded, without penalty.
