STATEMENT HY Mil CAHHOLL. (rcr Press Association.) HAMILTON, March 11. The Hon. J. Carroll, who arrived ftcro last night from Kawhla, interjvlewea by the Wuikato Times, said J ho question of dealing with noxious I weeds would have to be considered ns a whole and dealt wllh comprehensively. As regurds si>:tli\i lands, Crown lands, and native lands, he intended to confer with the inlelliIgent of the native race with a 'view to finding a method of coping with the weeds on native lands. JMr Carroll proceeded to Kotoruu to-day, and will remain there n fortnight. He then returns to Auckland, j and will immediately sail for Ois.bornc.
