Mr G. W. Otterson has been appointed by Mess : rs Ileivley and Griffiths to represent tliem in the Tarajniki district. The Hoard of Governors u ; the New Plymouth High School have appointed Mrs Florence M. Uaukrodger as teacher of needlework. This lady holds high testimonials from the I niversily of Birmingham and the Stockwell Training College., England. Eighteen applications for the position were received.

Mr G. F.. Williams, u f this circuit, was among the successful candidates for the ministry accepted at the Methodist Conference in Wellington. 'I 1 -' wab coached for his examination ■by ill*. John Young, of Liardet street.
