Quotations for New Zealand beef arc nominal. The butter market is very firm at average prices. Choicest New Zealand is 102s per cwt. There is general confidence in the maintenance of present prices, ami the market continues active, notwithstanding heavy arrivals. There are at present no complaints of fishiness in New Zealand butler, shipments landing giving satisfaction to buyers. The wool market' for line crossbreds remains steady, but for medium and coarse crossbred* it is weak.
