THE PREMIER'S CARRIAGE SMASHED.
(l'er Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Feb. 22. While the Premier's carriage was waiting to take him to the train en route for Feilding, an electric tram caused the horses to become restive, with the result that the lundau was smashed. Fortunately no one was in the carriage at .the time, and another conveyance being secured, the journey was proceeded with.
