F LONDON, Feb. 20. rhe Standard's correspondent remarks that the Moscow municipalL ity's vote of condolence eulogises •v. the Gramt r-1ile», but does- noOltect to deplore her husband's deutn. The newspaper Novosti declares the assassination furnished a material proof that Russia is sick and badly in need of a speedy cure. The Standard's Odessa correspondent reports that among- no class has there been any expression of sorrow at the murder of the Gntnd Duke Sergius, or reprobation of the assassin. The police with difficulty prevented unseemly demonstrations of joy. The event has stimulated the agitation for reform and the obliteration of the Grand Ducal influence.
