Much of tho work was admirable, but it was of an uneven nature. The soloists played carefully, the cornet und euphonium in particular. A good band. Reviewing the performance in ihe New Zealand Herald, "llaton" writ- * Parana's! Garrison, like several of the other bands, should study detaill. Melody was at ti'mes smothered by accompaniment.
