Inquiries recently made by several |of the Paris journals go to show ,that for the laslt four years a weai- ,"*-•>.%' lady of Scottish or.igin, described as tilie Comtcsse de Railway, and possessed of great wealth, has been living in the Motel de Louvre here under the vigilant guardianship of Uo persons called M. and Mine, de I'ully.
I According to the Comic Pali-ice .do Railway, who lives at 1(>, Hue |Daniremont, Paris, the son of the .lady, she is a virtual prisoner, and no (ears- tha't uivlawful pressure is being brought to bear upon her bv her [guardians. The Cpintc declares 'that tor four years h.e has neither seen nrjr had any communication with his mother, and he has' asked the Police Prosecufor to open an inquiry into the affair.
