Alfred '« Wray, P.D.S.C.R., which took place , L on October 29th, 1904, at the age 1 of 00 years. The sad event took place at Oxford, England, where the • brother had been advised by his . medical oflicer to undergo an opcration. He joined Court Waireka on January 2Gth, 1876, and was 28 * years a member of the Order, during which timp he had been constant " in his efforts to promote the pros- * perjty of Fores-fry. He* was ap- '*■ pointed trustee on December 20th, " 1878, and' resigned on March 20th, " 1892, Sr. Woodward, December 27th, ' 1879, S.C.R. January 1882, C H ' December 1882, and District Subb Chief Ranger, August 11th, 1885 ; Chairman of the Foresters' Hall Committee, 189(5, and was appointed the tirst delegate in the Taranaki i district, to attend the High Court ' , meeting in England in 1900. He ' y was presented with a P.C.R. jewel r in honour of his being the first delc(l gate to represent this district at the !- High Court meeting.
