SHOCKING TRAM ACCIDENT.

Ward, hairdresser, of Tory Street, sustained dreadful injuria* thin afternoon by falling under an electric car at Oriental May. It appears that the boy felt while running alongside the car. and one of his arnw must |m w (qm under it, and he was then struck by. the gear of the car, whlcH was pullod up short, f>ud the unfortunate child extricated in an unconscious condition. It was them found that he had sustained a very bad scalp | wound and a fractured skull, white his upper Jaw was broken and bit lowcf Jaw apimrcntly dislocated. Hla I right nrm also was terribly mangled, the wrist and hand befog almott severed and hanging merely by, shreds of flesh and sinew. The sufferer was removed tcjthe hospital, where his right arm was amputated. . j Eye witnesses attribute no blame to 'the car otiictalH.
