Their vnluaeions of ' the 45,000 acres being taken by (he Government, as in February, 1908 ranged from £282,022 to £306,091, All the witnesses described the property ns one capable of very great jmprouiiiienl and as very suitable for subdivision, Mr TowdrcH said that there was a very considerable proportion offflatt t land and of other land of dairying quality, -* .-. -
