Friday morning they will be officially welcomed to Auckland by tho Mayor and open their match agajnst. Auckland fifteen. The team are all well. Darling and Newland arc not with the ieam, the former intending to go direct to F.ngland, while Xewlond will overtake Ivs comrades at Christcbunoh. Howell is suffering from an injured finger caused in the match just before leaving for New Zealand, so that the following will presumably be the team to play against Auckland:—Syd. Gregory, A. Cotter, R. A. Buff, A. J. Hopkins, J. J. Kelly, M. A. Noble. V. Trumiier. G. Gehrs, C. Hilly W. Armstrong, C. McLeod. The Auckland team will be as follows :—Oliff, Mason, N.' H.
