PALMKHSTOX N., Feb. 5, The local branch of the Far morn' Union has set up a committee to collect evidence to submit to the Land Commission when it visits this district. The Farmers' Union is also taking steps to promote a farmers' ('mutual fire insurance society in Mnnnwatu and the surrounding districts, a stipulation ln-ing mode that £40,000 worth of iriMirance must lie guaranteed before .1 atari can be made. A committee has also been set up to establish a general produce , exchange at Palmersion North, under the auspices ol the Farmers' Union. '
