A Consumptive Hospital.
■» MELBOURNE, Feb. 2. The State Government establishes a home for consumptives at Broad- i meadows. (The want of an adequate, properly equipped hospital for cases of phthisis has long been urged by medical men in Victoria. Broadmeadows is a "small town on rising ground Bboufi 50 miles north *>f Melbourne. It is the centre of a good agiicultural area, and is reputedly a most healthy locaSity.)
