A HALF-CASTE FORGER.
(Per Press Association.) GISHOKNE, Jan. 31, At the Police Court to-day JJortio Lyons, a young half-caste, pleaded gujlty to forging a chcifue for Zi, also to having stolen a cow and three calves. The accused was remanded to the Supreme 'Court at Aucknind for sentence. Ho sold the cattle to the man whose cheque was forged.
