Renter slates that fog and cold stopped the battle. Lokalauzeiger's (Berlin) Mukden correspondent says that a general continues. Losses are heavy on both sides, .and are particularly severe in the centre. Other advices state that the Russians occupied two villages. FIFTH ARMY CORPS. LONDON, Jan. 27. It is intensely eold on the Shaho. Japan is constructing at ,Yokosuka a 19,000 ton battleship, with a speed of 18J knots. She will be the largest and most powerfully armed warships in the world.
