Jan. 21. • It is stated in Berlin, regarding Messrs Iluins, lMiilp and Company's , (Hrisba-ne) claim for compensation I for loss of trade at (lie Marshall and Caroline Groups, that it is doubtful if the agreement of 1886 applies. That agreement stipulated for equality in, German and Hritish vessels trading in thp Pacilip, which, Gurmany maintains, has been observed.
