A VIGOROUS CENTENARIAN.
Mr W. 11. Shaw, n well known resident of the Ulobe (says the Sydney Morning Herald) aroused Hie enthusiasm of an audience which tilled the Glebe. Town Hall on a recent ni'ifht by taking part in a concert which had been arranged to celebrate his 100 th birthday. Mr Shuw, who is one of the old typo of colonists, is still hale and hearty. He selected for his song "Hose of Allandale," and his rendering was marked by distinct enunciation and fidelity to the melody. At the close he was accorded quite an ovation, and lie responded by singing a second, song. During the evening, on behalf of Hie local llcnevolent Society, which institution his family have from time to time aided, he was the recipient of several presentations.
