New South Wales Loan.
♦ Its Successful Issue. — SYDNEY, Jan. 18. Mr Carruthcrs says ; it must not bo concluded from the success of the redemption loan that the difficulty of borrowing in the London market is relieved. The success fs due to the care exercised in floating it. It would have been prejudicial' to the State if it had proved a failure ; therefore it had to be arranged, ami the success assured shows the wisdom of the advice of the Treasurer being obtained and followed. LONDOX, Jan. 17. The public subscribed the whole of the New South Wales loan.
