Queensland Firm's Claim. SYDNEY, Jan. 17. Burns', I'h'ilp and Co.'s claim sets out that, believing themselves to have been treated by the German authorities with grave injustice and grave illegality, .they claim from the Government of Germany, as compensation and indemnity, both as merchants and owners of the steamer YsabeJ, for taxes illegally levied, for loss sustained through the prevention of their trading in the Caroline and Marshall Islands, for refusal to allow land to be acquired, for loss arising from dislocation of business, and for every o ther loss and damagß arising from the illegal action of the authorities at the Caroline and Marshall Islands), the sum of ten thousand pounds.
