Lost Island Trade.
Claim for Compensation. (Received Jart. ifi, 10.14 p.m.) SYDNEY, Jan. 16. Mesarg Burns, Philp and Company, of Brisbane, have placed in the hands of the Federal Government a claim for £IO,OOO compensation against the German Government for damage arising out of the refusal lo allow the steamer Ysatel to trade to the Caroline and Marshall Islands.;
