DUNEDIN GRAIN MARKET. DUNEDIN, Jan. 11. Oats.—All kinds mot with a good demand, and stocks ere becoming ' J light. There is a decidedly firmer market. Prime quality Is 7jd to Is 9d, good to best feed Is 6d to Is 7d, medium Is 5d to Is 6d ; sacks extra. Wheat.—Very little business passing in milling. There has been some inquiry for prime sorts. Fowl wheat - 1 is Prime milling 3s 6d to 3s 9d, medium 3s 3d to 3s sd, whole . fowl wheat 3s Id to 3s 2d, broken ' 2s (ki to 3s. BURNSIDE STOCK SALES. DUNEDIN, Jan. 11. Fat sheep.—236o yarded, composed . mainly of good wethers and prime ewes. Bidding was confined to butchers, and prices dropped by Is to Is 6d per head. Best 21s 3d to 23s 3d, medium 19s 6d to 21s, light . 18s 6d to 19s 3d, best ewes 18s (id to 19s 9d, medium 17s to 18s 3d, r light 14s 6d to 16s 3d. Fat lambs,—662 penned, consisting mostly of good to prime. Owing to the operations of the freezing buyers the demand showed an improvement as compared with last week's, and prices rose Is to Is fid per head. Best lambs 15s 6d to 17s 3d, medium lis 3d to 14s 3d, light 13s 6d to 14s. Fat Cattle.—l7o were yarded, and < proved in excess of requirements. There was a decline of 10s to 15s per head, being most apparent in medium lines. Best bullocks £lO 2s 6d to £lO 9s 6d, good- £8 10s to £9 10s, medium and light £6 to £B, best heifers £7 10s to £9, good £5 10s to £6 15s, medium to light £4 10s to £5 ss. Pigs.—l6B penned..
