EGG-LAYING COMPETITION.
BELNIIEIM, Jan. 12. The New Zealand Egtj-laying Competition Association, formed in Blenheim recently, decided to-night to proceed with its competition whether Government patronage, which has been applied for, is granted or not. Arrangements for finance were adopted, and it was decided to procure a site at once.
