TABANAKI CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. Saturday's Play. After the postponement necessary on Friday the fine weather of the following day was doubly welcome ' to tho tennis enthusiasts, who thronged the Vivian Street courts jin record numbers, and watched the I progress of the tournament with ' ■keen interest. Interest naturally ' centred in the splendid exhibitions ' given by Miss Nunneley and Mr H. ' 'A. Parker, the champions, while the local champion, Miss Powdrell, also 'gave a fine display. I In the evening a most enjoyable dance was held in. tho Brougham ! Street Hall, when there was a good attendance. To-day should see a large attendance at the courts, as some interesting piny may be expected.
