A HOSPITAL BENEFACTOR. (Received Jan. 4, 11.45 p.m.) LONDON, Jan 1 . 4. Lord Mount-Stephed has given, as a New Year's gift, £200,000 worth of Argentine bonds yielding £II,OOO yearly to the Prince of Wales for the King's Hospital fund. King Edward expressed his grati r tude at Lord Mount-Stephen's second magnificent' donation. (Lord Mount-StcphVn, in 1887, with Sir Donald Smith), gave £200,000 to found the Victoria Hospital at Montreal, and in 1897 £200,000 more as an endowment for the institution.)
