(From Our Correspondent.) The whirlwind from New Plymouth succeeded in carrying oil the roof Mr C. Mace's cowshed. A long discussion ensued as to the allocation of money to be si>ent oil the various roads. Tenders are to bo called for much of the work. Messrs Standiwh aftd Kerr are to be informed that their letter vc Baldwin's account will receive due attention. The prize distribution at tile school took place on Fri-day, when the school broke up for the holidays. Mr Morris, chairman of committee, presided. Mr Adlani, Education Hoard, briefly addressed the children on the benefits of regularity and punctuality. Mrs Morns distributed the prizes.
