At the Magistrate's Court at Rakaia to-day Amy Channel, alias Uoyce, was charged with forging a cheque for £l2, and was committed for trial at the next sessions of the Supreme Court at Christchurch. Bail was allowed in £IOO on accused's own security, and two sureties of £SO each,
