NEED FOR BRITISH IMPERIAL CO-OPERATION. TO FIGHT THE FOREIGNER, LONDON, Dec. 6. Sir Michael Hicks-lleacli (late Chancellor of the Exchequer) and Sir John Coloiub, M.P., introduced to the Right Hon. A. J. Balfour a deputation from Yho Imperial Federation Defence Committee to ask that the proposed Colonial Conference give primary consideration to the necessity of Imperial co-operation in the maintenance of the navy in order to retain Britain's maritime supremacy.
