UNREST IN RUSSIA.

SERIOUS RIOTS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY. MUTINOUS MAN-O'-WARSMEN. St. PETERSHURG, Dec. 10. Many bread riots have occurred in Russia. In several places the soldiers helped to sack the shops. ' Numerous rioters were killed or wounded. LONDON, Dec. 6. The Times' Russian correspondents state that 8000 sailors, marines, and firemen participated at Sevastopol in a mutiny because some of the crew of the battleship Georgi Pobiwdonostzeft were not allowed to go ashore. The mutineers seized the boats of the squadron, and the Admiral's signals to peremptorily suppress the insubordination were disregarded. The garrison troops at first refused to shoot sailors in the streets, even when the officers threatened them with severe punishment.

Some of the mutineers used firearms.
