HIGH SCHOOL v. WEST END "B.'i The High School cloven met West End *'B" on the former's ground on Saturday. 'West End scored a victory on the first innings- by 37 runs, chiefly due to Prior 25 and young. 19. The latter also bowled well, taking six wickets for 8 runs and doing the "hat trick." For the High School Coker 14 (not out) and Stanley 11, played well, the former carrying his bat right through. This team made 82 runs in an hour and a quarter in a second essay. Scores : West End "B."—Hylnnd 3, Thomas 'i, Hardwick 1, Danks 1, Young 19, Prior 25, Thomas 5, Way 1, Hooker 0, Brown 0, Jenks (not out) 5, Metros 13 ; total 77. High School.—Baker 1, Avery 2, C. Ward 1, Coker (not out) 14, MacDiarmid 2, Broadmore 0, Stanley 11, Stohr 0, Cook 0, Matthews 6, Langmuir 2, extras 1 ; total 40.
