REPORT ON CONDUCT OF BUSINESS. PERTH, Dec. 2. Tlie Boulder Deep Levels Commisaioji/s report animadverts on the lax supervision o vcr the assays of samples, and the incorrectness ol assays, either caused by "salting " or falsification 0/ tho books. The commissioners, commenting on share transactions, consequent on an alleged rich discovery, state that Mr Frank Gardner", chairman of directors, .held 170,000 out of 230,000 shares issued, and the balance was held, apparently, in London by several mine officials. Harold Vickers, who made all the assays from the deep levels of the mine, had dealt in shares; The report accused Vickc.s ol having deliberately perjured himself when giving evidence before the commission. Vlckers gave information! in reference to the assay to a Frances Earp, which was sufficient to effect a considerable share deal on their joint account. The report concluded : "Although, perhaps, the actual modus operandi of the- frauds has not been disclosed, the commissioners trust sufficient has been brought to light concerning tho pract ces which have obtained - m the Uoulder Deep Level to indicate how such an occurrence may to some extent bo guarded against in future "
