Admiral Foelkersahne's officers are descrilxtl as efficient, hut the crews are ignorant of the rudiments of seamanship, they being peasants, without technical knowledge. 'three mysterious yachts, one Hying the French and two the Englisih llaig, have entered the Suez Canal. It is suspected that the Russian Admiralty has engaged them to explore the Gulf of Sue/ and Thaidwan Island beloiis the Baltiic Fleet's arrival. U[;on arrival at Suez two ol the destroyers reconnoitred for an hour a,nd then rejoined the other live in the anchorage. Ironctads are being towed through the canal.
